简介：Amazon has put in development hourlong drama series Girl Waits With Gun, based on Amy Stewart’s bestselling book, from writers Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan (Veep). The project, which has a pilot option, hails from Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman’s Brownstone Productions, Warner Bros. TV and Amazon Studios. Penned by Crittenden and Allan, Girl Waits With Gun is inspired by the true story of Constance Kopp who, years before women had the right to vote, own property or even wear pants, became the first female sheriff in the United States in 1914. Crittenden and Allan executive produce with Banks and Handelman for Brownstone in association with Warner Bros. TV and Amazon Studios.
