Rekorder

A former cameraman turned movie pirate smuggles a camcorder into theaters to illegally record films. One night he records something else… and the footage goes viral. 　　Rekorder is a mixed-format independent Filipino film that tells the story of Maven, a former movie cameraman from the golden age of Filipino cinema in the 1980s. Now a movie pirate operating in present day Manila, Maven routinely smuggles an obsolete video camcorder into movie theaters in order to illegally record films. One night he records something else... and the footage goes viral.
