简介：Kerr came out of retirement in 1982 when television beckoned but this was her sole big screen assignment of the period. Recently widowed Helen becomes obsessed with her husband's garden and her determination to maintain it leads to friendship with an Indian neighbour (Jaffrey). The gradual erosion of Helen's English reserve enriches her life and the exorcises some ghosts. Kerr gives a pitch-perfect performance as a woman out of kilter with modern life.
